Now we are going into the blocks section. the blocks in this section are basic blocks that one must know when learning taekwondo. The videos that are provided are more than enough to guide you through step-by-step through the whole process of the blocks but before we begin I would like to stress that while doing these blocks, one should never bend one's wrist while doing the block but twist one's arm instead. The power that taekwondo exerts is through the power generated while twisting, be it the twist of the heels, hips or arms. This concept is crucial and is the main "backbone" of taekwondo So please keep this in mind while training.
